Roma is Yellow and Red

Last week AS Roma won the Uefa Conference League, the first trophy after 14 years (and the first in Europe after 61 years), and the city poured out onto the streets to scream all its love loud and clear. I support AS Roma since I was born, it’s more than a passion, it’s maybe a sort of religion, so you can just imagine how happy I am for this win. I spent 24 hours on the streets screaming like a child of course, but also taking pictures of this great celebration. Roma is Yellow and Red: the joy makes a lot of noise.

Story of a Move

After two decades, some guys left Rome to come back in their childhood cities. I asked them the permission to take pictures during the move. Here a selection of images that I took during that busy morning.

Last week I’m back in Roma after a beautiful month in Monopoli, in the Southern Italy, where I basically go every summer since when I was born. Looking at the pictures I have taken in this place year after year, I noticed that I have a good body of work. So I’ll try to show you a selection of images, just to close this chapter (for this year) and come back to my “Roman affairs”!

Garbatella 100

Sono cresciuto a Monte Mario, ma ormai sono 7 anni che vivo a Garbatella, un quartiere che è una grande Casa e che non cambierei per nulla al mondo. È bello essere qui proprio in questi giorni in cui ricorrono 100 anni dalla posa della prima pietra. Un piccolo paese nel cuore di Roma, una grande Casa, un simbolo di antifascismo e di romanità. Sono molto orgoglioso che una delle mie foto sia una delle immagini più utilizzate sul web per raccontare questo quartiere. Sono molto orgoglioso di far parte di questo rione meraviglioso, popolare, vivo, dalla grande storia e dalla grande tradizione. Questa è una piccola selezione di foto che ho scattato in questi anni a Garbatella.
